Answer: Definitely not. Wallpaper uses water-based adhesives, which requires either copious amounts of soapy water or steam to loosen it. A heat gun may burn it off. -

Can this be used to remove paint from a cast iron fireplace?
Answer: Yes, it works well on cast iron. -
Question:
Can I use this to help put Fabalon on kitchen units?
Answer: You can, but be cautious as the heat that comes out is very hot and may burn the Fabalon. -

Is this for concrete? I want to remove old paint from outside stairs.
Answer: A heat gun may not work on concrete as it can cause it to break up. It is recommended to use a sander or sandpaper to rub back the surface and repaint. -

Has anybody used this heat gun to firm up clay?
Answer: It is not recommended unless the clay item is placed in a fireproof container and heat is applied through a nozzle or a small opening. -
Question:
Does this have a UK 3-pin plug?
Answer: The Seekone 2000W Model No. SDL-2816, which I purchased, has a standard 3-pin plug. A 2-pin item would have a different model number and may be 110V for US/European use. -
Question:
Can I use this to remove paint from copper piping?
Answer: You can use the heat gun on copper piping, but be cautious as copper heats up quickly. Don't overheat the pipe and the paint should be easy to remove. -
Question:
On the high setting, it says the airflow is 250-500 litres per minute. How do you adjust the airflow?
Answer: There are 2 speed settings on the switch. Speed 1 is in blue and speed 2 is in red. Adjust the setting to control the airflow. -
Question:
I cannot remove the attachment after use. Can you please help?
Answer: Try twisting the attachment or heat it up using the heat gun so that it expands, making it easier to remove.
