- The RSHT Chimney Fan from Enervex is a high temperature, exhaust fan specifically designed for applications where efficient operation, low noise level, low energy consumption, variable speed and compact design are of utmost importance. It should be installed at the termination point of a solid fuel chimney or stock system and can be mounted on masonry or metal chimneys. Although this fan is typically mounted in the entire chimney or stack system during operations as the fan discharges at a high velocity. The fan is compact, and barley visible from the ground. However, the fan may be recessed or hidden behind a chimney top enclosure such as a copper cap, shrouds, cupolas, etc. The fan is hinged and the top can be opened for easy service and access to the chimney flue and fan blades. The housing is make of 3/16 thick stainless steel and finished with one coat of black paint for added corrosion resistance. The fan blades are stainless, dynamically and statically balanced to assure low noise level and operate vibration-free. The motor is a split capacitor, totally enclosed, Class H insulated and in the IP54 Protection Class. The RSHT motor also features sealed ball bearing, variable speed control and thermal overload protection. The RSHT Chimney Fan is for use where flue gas temperature does not exceed 1400 degrees F for intermittent operation, and 1000 degrees F for continuous operation.
