Despite its petite proportions, the Alvarez parlor guitar projects with surprising volume and resonance. Solid Sitka Spruce Top Offers Bright, Balanced Tone The MP60E gets its clear, complex tone from a solid sitka spruce top. Known for its balanced sound across the tonal spectrum, solid sitka spruce emphasizes sparkling highs and tight lows. Strumming and fingerpicking reveal the MP60E's articulate note separation. The solid wood top also blossoms over time, maturing into richer overtones. Whether using a pick or your fingers, you'll appreciate the dynamic range of the Alvarez parlor guitar. L.R. Baggs HiFi Pickup System Captures Natural Acoustic Tone Plug in the Alvarez MP60E parlor to experience the hi-fidelity L.R. Baggs pickup system. Utilizing an undersaddle transducer, the LR Baggs HiFi accurately conveys the guitar's inherent acoustic sound. From percussive rhythms to fingerpicked melodies, it reproduces the MP60E's balanced tone with impressive realism. The onboard volume knob controls your amplified level, while the tone knob cuts highs for a warmer sound. Whether performing live or recording in the studio, you'll appreciate the acoustic integrity of the L.R. Baggs system. Hand-Crafted Paua Abalone Body Purfling Provides Visual Flair Adding to the MP60E's refined aesthetics, hand-inlaid paua abalone graces the body purfling.
