The mount extends away from the wall but sits tight and is sturdy. The mount can be rotated up to 90 degrees in either direction and works with 80-inch TVs. The mount is compatible with almost all Televisions that have 4 standard mounting holes at the back forming a square, 100, 200, or 300 mm on a side. The Kanto Recessed In-Wall Full Motion TV Mount is a monster and is well-executed.
