An innovative flip-lock clamping quick-release plate lets you rapidly lock and release cameras with one hand. In line with all 3POD's signature ballhead gems, the H2 employs state-of-the-art ergonomic design, damping for flawlessly smooth movement and jitter-free panning.At the base of the head, a convenient inscribed 360 Degree dial makes for easy, perfect positioning throughout the ballhead's full range of panoramic movement. 2 bubble levels, 1 on the head perimeter and a 180 Degree circular bullseye, next to the lock knob, assure absolute alignment in any 3-dimensions. The dual drop-in channels support vertical portrait orientation without stress to the clamping mechanism. The most extraordinary QR Arca plate locking device for the ballhead is the three-position thumb lever on the side of the platform.As Arca QR plates vary slightly from brand to brand, our smart lock adjusts to grasp the width correctly and snugly at the user's whim. Any Arca-style plate will fit within the clamp jaws. Adjust the width of the rails of the lever lock clamp by tightening or loosening the screw mechanism on the lever lock.Heads Up!The Everest H4 and H2 are more than just pretty heads. Ergonomics, ingenious leverage, precision drag, and friction deliver absolute reliability for the confident image maker. Once set decisively, the head holds a position at any angle.Note the lock knob opposite the flip lock. Rotation of the panoramic head platform orbit.
