The elastic strap that keeps it shut is a great addition to the design. However, it does not come with a screen protector, and one needs to be purchased separately. The case has proved to hold up well to droppage, but the elastic strap needs to be engaged all the time. Although it provides excellent protection, it does make the iPad heavy.
