It should work on a CO2 laser engraver, and it doesn't activate at a certain PSI but opens after receiving an electrical signal. It should be completely shut, so if there is a slow air leak when closed, check that the pressure is not exceeding the valve rating, the flow direction is correct, and there is no leak on the tubing connection.
