Product Description
Superior Threads Tenara TR-92 White Sewing Thread by Gore
About This Item
Introducing the Tenara TR-92 White by Gore Tenara - the ultimate sewing thread for all your awning, marine, and outdoor needs. With its unique properties and unbeatable durability, this thread is guaranteed to last a lifetime. Made from expanded PTFE material, which is two to three times stronger than conventional PTFE, the Tenara Sewing Thread (HTR) and (TR) are pre-lubricated for a cooler running needle. This means faster sewing without compromising on strength.
The TR style sewing thread has an elongation (or stretch) of approximately 17%, making it more robust and allowing for even faster sewing. But what sets Tenara apart from other threads on the market is its resilience to the elements. While polyester threads can lose up to half their strength in just one year of sun exposure, Tenara remains unaffected by sunlight, acid rain, and other destructive substances. It maintains its strength and color indefinitely, outlasting not only the fabric it is sewn into but also new solution dyed acrylics. The Tenara TR-92 White thread is highly popular for its translucence, making it perfect for a wide range of fabrics.
This thread simply disappears into most fabrics, eliminating color-matching headaches. Plus, it is unaffected by canvas cleaning solutions and will not stain, mildew, or rot. Dirt just wipes off effortlessly, keeping your projects looking pristine. Ideal for any awning, marine, or other outdoor application, Gore Tenara is the go-to choice for professionals in the textile industry.
It is widely trusted for its exceptional quality and long-lasting performance. This durable thread is even waterproof, making it ideal for outdoor furniture, shade structures, and awnings. When you choose Tenara TR-92 White by Gore Tenara, you are investing in a thread that will stand up to years of sun and weather, ensuring that your seams last the lifetime of your product. And with a full warranty to back it up, you can have complete peace of mind. So don't settle for ordinary threads that won't stand the test of time.
Choose the Tenara TR-92 White by Gore Tenara for the highest quality, durability, and performance. Shop now and experience the difference that Tenara makes in your projects.

Superior Threads Sewing Editorial Review
Superior Threads Tenara TR-92 White Sewing Thread by Gore is a remarkable choice for outdoor and marine projects due to its UV resistant properties and durable construction. Users have found that this thread performs exceptionally well when used in rotary sewing machines, making it ideal for applications such as boat awnings and heavy-duty outdoor fabrics. Its unique manufacturing from 100 percent expanded polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) ensures longevity, even in harsh environments like the hot southern California sun. Many reviews highlight its ability to create reliable and lasting stitches without fraying, while some note that it may not work as efficiently in oscillating sewing machines without proper setup.
