Answer: I don’t know the process of producing the leather, but it is very thin. That would lead me to believe it is lambskin. Cowhide would seem to be inherently thicker. -

Answer: Did not purchase wallet with shield. 6S iPhone fits nicely inside fold of wallet since it is thin. -
