The AquaQuest Defender Tarp is a high quality 10x10 ft, heavy-duty, waterproof nylon tarp. Although it can be heavier than some other tarps, it is also more durable and versatile. It comes with plenty of webbing loops to tie it down securely and a nice carry bag. The Defender Series has TPU lamination on the underside of the tarp and DWR coating on the top side. The waterproof rating (Hydrostatic Resistance rate of 20,000mm) is tested before the DWR coating is added so the tarp is still waterproof on the underside. It is heat-taped on the underside to seal it. This tarp works well as a shelter, patio shade and for pick-up protection from the weather. Customers recommend it for camping, fishing, and bushcraft, recommending it's worth the price. **
