The DR Veritas Accordion Accessory is a set of strings that has received a mixed response from customers. Unfortunately, some customers have had mishaps with the packaging where it doesn't disclose that it has round cores until ripped open. However, the strings hold tune very accurately and have spot-on intonation. From reviews, it is evident that string preference is subjective. The DR Veritas strings do not have a coating, hence play like typical string feel with standard tension. They are not like the Elixir strings that sound okay and last longer but are harder on your fingers and cannot be bent easily. Martin SP gives a richer sound than coated strings but doesn't last as long as the Elixir.
