However, one customer stated that it is recommended for ages 12+ and has a skill level of 4. The kit requires glue and paint which is not included. The model is made out of plastic and some customers recommended using Testors spray enamel and clear coat for best results. The model car has good details which make it a great addition to any collection. However, one customer was disappointed that the model is not sold as a Trans Am and did not come with Trans Am decals as it was advertised in the Smokey and the Bandit movie. The customer gave the model kit 3 out of 5 stars for this reason. Overall, the kit is easy to assemble with great details and is a perfect gift for hobbyists or collectors who are looking for a challenge.
