INSL-X Stix is a waterborne bonding primer that is designed to provide unparalleled adhesion to all kinds of challenging surfaces such as glossy paints, PVC, tile, glazed blocks, most plastics, glass, pre-coated siding, fiberglass, and galvanized metals. It can also be used on plaster, drywall, wood, and non-ferrous metals. This waterborne acrylic urethane primer/sealer is ideal for use on interior and exterior surfaces of drywall, plaster, ceiling, acoustical tile, wood trim, doors, formica, masonry walls, wood, trim, shutters, stucco, concrete, cement block, and aluminum. This primer works well on most surfaces, even those with old adhesive or butyl caulk. However, it is not recommended to apply paint or primer over wallpaper. Some users have reported that this primer is not suitable for canvases or flexible surfaces. Though the product has a low odor, some users have reported discomfort due to the smell and fumes caused by the primer. Overall, INSL-X Stix works as a great primer for multiple surfaces and provides good coverage.
