Answer: No, it comes ready to use out of the box. -

Answer: Yes, it can be placed on any flat surface. -

Answer: Yes, it can be easily emptied and folded up for off-season storage and reused in the next season. -

How much soil quantity is needed to fill this for vegetable?
Answer: The 2ft x 4ft fabric raised garden bed needs approx 0.4 cubic yards of soil according to our calculation. -
Question:
How well do these retain moisture?
Answer: The moisture was retained well...so well that I got white spots all around the fabric. The structure of the rectangle is more of an oval, as its shape was not retained. It’s flimsy. I ended up putting it away and putting my plants in containers. -
Question:
What material is it made from exactly?
Answer: It’s a cloth type material. It’s pretty flimsy. I had to put rocks in the corners to help keep its shape. -

What is the height of the 3x6?
Answer: It’s 16 inches high. Fabric is very sturdy. I’ve just starting filling it. I like it better than the raised bed made of wood that I made that was only 12 inches high. I’m looking forward to planting soon. Hope this helps. -

Answer: Yes, it is felt material and BPA-free. -
Question:
Can I grow lettuce and tomatoes in this?
Answer: Lettuce for sure - only need about 6-8" soil. Tomatoes will also work but you would need to have deeper soil, I think. I think bed is 16" deep so plenty deep. I am not an expert by any means ;-)
