    Answer: Yes, the DreamLine SlimLine shower bases can be used in conjunction with DreamLine Shower Doors for a complete shower installation.
  • Question: What is the standard drain size for these shower bases?

    Answer: The single threshold shower bases come with an opening ready for a standard compression fitting drain.
  • Question: What colors are available for the shower bases?

    Answer: The shower bases are available in multiple colors, including the popular off-white color called biscuit.
  • Question: Can you put a door or curtain on this?

    Answer: Either, but shower doors often come with their own base. I am using a curtain.
  • Question: Is it possible to get this item 46x40?

    Answer: No. Only standard sizes: 36x48, 36x42, 42x42.
  • Question: Can the pan be cut to a 30x30 size?

    Answer: Jim, Unfortunately the bases cannot be cut or altered in any way.
  • Question: Can this be installed on wood subfloor of a recreational vehicle? Does it require a mortar base?

    Answer: DreamLine products have not been tested in a recreational vehicle and we cannot guarantee their performance. The base does require a bed of mortar.
  • Question: How thick should the mortar bed be? Do you place mortar directly on the subfloor?

    Answer: Installation of the base requires sand mortar mix of a thick, pudding-like consistency that is spread 1” thick around the perimeter of the standing area, tapering down to 3/8” thick around the drain. Yes, the mortar is placed directly on the subfloor.
  • Question: How sloped is the base? Is there an issue with standing water?

    Answer: Not very slope and will have water stay in the ba
