The speakers feature a 12 dB in line crossover and all tweeter mounting hardware, making installation a breeze. The Neo mylar, soft dome, impact resistant tweeter elements ensure clear highs while handling plenty of power.
The rubber, moisture-resistant surround with high mid-bass impact delivers deep bass and a rich sound experience. Designed for speed and deep bass, the lightweight, rigid, alpha cellulose cones are bonded to the surround using high temperature adhesive. The braided tinsel leads are conductive yet flexible, ensuring optimal performance. The pure copper voice coil creates a strong magnetic field with a thin extrusion, while the Kapton lightweight voice coil former efficiently dissipates heat. The speakers also feature an epoxy-infused natural fiber that allows both flexibility and strength.
The overcoil cooling system exchanges air over the voice coil to prevent overheating. The passive Butterworth smooth crossover ensures seamless transitions from midrange/midbass to the tweeter element. The in-line premium crossover capacitors create a smooth component system for superior audio quality. The anti-resonant stamped steel basket is very strong with minimal harmonics or distortion, while the ferrite magnet creates a strong magnetic field for enhanced sound production. Installation is a breeze with the option to use spade connectors or solder directly for the best connection.
The included grills protect the speakers from accidental damage. With a maximum power of 400 watts and a sensitivity of 88 dB, these speakers provide impressive performance.
