Though it should not be used for killing insects or powdery mildew, it works wonders on fungus and bacteria. The brightness of the light is not supposed to be strong, but the UV Irradiation in the correct range, 253nm. Customer experience: Although some buyers had a bad experience with the device, the majority of the customers were happy.
