Answer: I'm not sure about the machine it works best on. It was purchased for my seamstress and she hasn't had any issues with it. Unsure about folding vinyl. -

Answer: This attachment is made to mount in screw holes on an industrial sewing machine. It may temporarily tape to the bed of some vintage machines, but most modern plastic machines do not have mounting holes. -

Answer: It may, depending on the thickness of the tape. It is possible to alter the opening with a chisel to handle heavier/thicker material. However, it requires some handy skills with tools. If you are not handy with tools, it is not recommended to try it. -
