This product is a sturdy and secure dual-use hiking stick/cane tip that comes in small, medium and large sizes. The product consists of three parts: a rubber tip, an Alpine spike and a brass or chrome ferrule. The rubber tip screws onto the upper part of the Alpine spike, which provides secure traction. The Alpine spike can be screwed off and replaced with the rubber tip, depending on the terrain. The rubber tip is well supported inside and it can be secured to the bottom of the stick, unlike most of the other rubber tips that pop off.
