Customer Questions & Answers
-
Question:
What is the capacity of the 34 Ounce French Press Coffee Maker?
Answer: The 34 Ounce French Press Coffee Maker has a capacity of 1 liter, making it ideal for brewing enough coffee for multiple servings. This size is perfect for serving 2-4 coffee enthusiasts at once, allowing you to enjoy a rich and flavorful brew without needing to make multiple batches. Whether it’s for a cozy morning with family or entertaining friends, this capacity suits both intimate gatherings and relaxed home settings. -
Question:
Is the borosilicate glass carafe durable?
Answer: Yes, the borosilicate glass carafe is designed to be heat resistant and durable. This material is known for withstanding high temperatures and sudden temperature changes, which prevents cracking and ensures lasting performance. Users can confidently brew coffee or tea with hot water without worrying about damage, making it a reliable choice for daily use or special occasions. -
Question:
Are the extra French Press filters included in the package?
Answer: Yes, the 34 Ounce French Press Coffee Maker includes two extra French Press filters. These spare filters extend the lifespan of your coffee maker and ensure optimal brewing performance. Having additional filters on hand helps maintain the rich flavor of your brew by allowing you to replace worn ones when needed, ensuring you always enjoy a perfect cup of coffee. -
Question:
How do I clean the French Press coffee maker?
Answer: Cleaning the French Press is straightforward. After use, allow it to cool down, then disassemble the components, including the glass carafe, filter, and plunger. Rinse all parts with warm water, and for a more thorough clean, use mild soap and a soft sponge. Regular cleaning prevents coffee oils from building up, maintaining the freshness of future brews. It’s a hassle-free maintenance routine that ensures the longevity of your French Press. -
Question:
Can the French Press be used for brewing tea as well?
Answer: Absolutely! The 34 Ounce French Press can also be used for brewing tea. Its design allows you to steep tea leaves, providing an aromatic infusion similar to coffee brewing. Simply add the desired amount of loose tea leaves, pour in hot water, and let it steep according to your tea's specific requirements. This versatility makes it a valuable addition to both coffee and tea lovers' kitchens. -
Question:
What material is the French Press frame made of?
Answer: The frame of the French Press is made of stainless steel type 188, offering durability and resistance to rust and stains. This material not only enhances the aesthetic appeal of the coffee maker but also provides sturdy support for the glass carafe. Users can enjoy peace of mind knowing that their coffee maker is built to last, making it suitable for both everyday use and chic coffee setups. -
Question:
How does the French Press compare to other brewing methods?
Answer: The French Press is known for producing a full-bodied and flavorful cup of coffee compared to other brewing methods like drip or pour-over. This is because the coffee grounds remain in contact with the water for a longer period, extracting rich flavors and essential oils. Users looking for a deeper coffee experience and texture will appreciate the unique qualities that a French Press can offer, making it a favorite among coffee connoisseurs. -
Question:
Is it safe to brew coffee at high temperatures?
Answer: Yes, the durable borosilicate glass is designed to withstand high temperatures, ensuring safety when brewing coffee. Many coffee enthusiasts appreciate the ability to brew fresh coffee with water at optimal temperatures without fear of damaging the carafe. Always handle with care while brewing and pouring to prevent accidental spills or burns, giving you delicious coffee in every cup. -
Question:
What type of coffee grounds are best for the French Press?
Answer: For optimal results, coarsely ground coffee is recommended for the French Press. This grind size allows for a balanced extraction and prevents sediment from passing through the filter. Using finely ground coffee can lead to a bitter taste and a gritty texture. By choosing the right grind, coffee lovers can enjoy a rich, complex flavor that enhances the overall drinking experience. -

Rodolffo French Presses R1001 Editorial Review
Rodolffo French Press Coffee Maker The Rodolffo French Press Coffee Maker has been received positively by customers. It is praised for its nice quality, lack of plastic parts, and the protection provided by the stainless steel cup holder for the glass beaker, increasing its durability compared to other glass French presses. However, some customers have mentioned that cleaning the French press can be a bit challenging, although the trade-off is great coffee. Water can sometimes get trapped underneath the metal cup holder, adding to the dry time. Additionally, the French press tends to leave fingerprints on the stainless steel surface, which can be annoying for some users. Overall, customers appreciate the top quality of the Rodolffo French Press, especially the fact that there are no plastic parts. Some customers expressed a desire for a larger size option, suggesting a 51oz capacity. In conclusion, the Rodolffo French Press Coffee Maker is a high-quality product that provides a great coffee experience. It offers durability with its stainless steel cup holder and borosilicate glass beaker, and the lack of plastic parts is appreciated by customers. While cleaning can be a bit challenging and fingerprints are an annoyance, these minor drawbacks do not overshadow the overall positive reception of this French press.
